Green Pass: From August 6th Also in Restaurants. Here's When It's Needed and How It Works
The new covid decree signed by the Council of Ministers will come into effect on August 6th, outlining, among other things, the new areas of application of the green pass. The new decree implements some of the hypotheses that had circulated in recent days and which were discussed until the last minutes. In brief: green pass requirement, even if issued after a single dose, in all indoor places where you can sit at a table. So no for drinking coffee at the bar counter, yes instead for restaurants, diners and bars if you sit at a table (always indoors). Green pass also mandatory to enter cinemas, theaters, shows, fairs, conferences and events even outdoors (including football matches at the stadium), as well as to enter swimming pools, gyms and amusement parks. The green pass will also allow access to emergency room waiting areas and hospital wards to visit hospitalized family members.
